one thing i cant wait to be

    Hello hello hello! How are you guys! I like to pretend that I am talking to a large audience but reality its pretty much my mom, if we are being honest! But I have never found so much joy in writing blogs! I love it! I wish all of my classes did this!

    This week we talked about parenting and man did that get me excited! I have been wanting to be a mom for the longest time! I day dream about it. My fiance thinks im really funny because I am always asking him what he thinks about names I give him for our future kids. He tell me he has never met a girl that has baby fever this bad. If we are honest my baby fever was chilled out when I got a nannying job this past winter, the kids were so adorable and they are 18 months old and 5 months old. And let me tell you !! I appropriate all moms after being there nanny! This was one of the most eye opening opportunities ever.

    Moms are the most hardworking people I know. They give up so much for there children. I cant wait to be a mom one day and to be able to experience that first hand. See something you have created grow up into an amazing person!!!! 

    I get married in 50 days! Can you believe this ! How insane. Im glad im taking this class, I feel as I took this class at the most perfect time. Family relations, and Im literally transforming the most important relationship of my life. After this it made me think of how and my future husband are going to raise and parent our children. We come from very different families. I was raised by a single mother and Sam was raised by two parents. We both were raised every well and with all the love in the world. There are many ways to parent your kids. And frankly nobody has ever given you the key answer to how to be the perfect parent. Because guess what ! That does not exist! Yes we can get advice and we can try out different thins, but we have to face the facts and fears we will mess up and that is okay! 

    My only question is, is there going to be an adjustment period for me. The reason I asked this is because I am used to just listening to my mom and not anything from my dad because he was not in the picture. Am I going to get offended when my kids ask their dad for advice instead of me? How am I going to be able to know when I need to not over step and put my foot down because there is a whole other parent that Im not used to being there. I am so excited to figure out this part of life with the one I love the most. We both have never been parents before and we both have had two different experiences growing up. But I am excited to bring what we know together and use it to develop an amazing family! 

    I wish I knew all these answers to these questions ! But I know that this will be a learning curve for my husband and I. I know that if we are both on the same track and we are one unit then everything will just work out perfectly. The key in a happy life is being on the same page. This creates less confusion!
